Hello!

For those of you who may have missed the tiny little counter (!) this is the amount of time left until my new novel, “Amber Scott is Starting Over” is published and hits the shelves! I hope you are all as excited as I am. It’s a book that’s very special to me because I was writing it during a very exciting time in my life and it reflects that in many ways.  It’s also full of the places that make up this beautiful part of the world where I live and reflects a lot of what I was up to last summer! “Amber” is set in the beautiful Cornish seaside town of Fowey which is home to the Daphne du Maurier Literary Festival and the annual regatta.  If you pop to my competitions page please check out the give away!  If you pre order Amber please email me your conformation of order and I’ll pop you in the draw for some prizes.  I’ll also include  mystery Cornish themed gift...

The books are available to download on Kindle and as ibooks for those of you who got exciting gadgets for Christmas.  They are also in hardback for those of you who want to be really traditional and still have a big chunky book on your coffee table. Now that Amber is finished and in the capable hands of my publishers at Orion I’m flat out writing my next book.  It’s set in Rock in Cornwall, summer haven of the rich,  royals and the beautiful, and all about three girls who, tired of their useless boyfriends set off to find rich husbands. Or so they think... This is going to be a big fat, sexy, summery read and I can hardly wait. It was inspired by my seeing four girls zooming around the river Fowey last summer. They were blonde, beautiful and having such a hoot that the seed of a story was planted! If you have any stories about visiting Rock then please email them. I may well be able to include your anecdotes! And if that’s you in the boat please get in touch - I really was an author taking your picture for inspiration!

I’m also working on my YA novel, set in the glamorous world of eventing. Having a horse myself I know what a passion anything equine can be and it’s so much fun indulging myself.  Watch this space for excerpts and updates.

In March I’ll be running another Writers’ Retreat for aspiring writers. Please check out the details on this site and email me if you are interested.  It should be a lot of fun and I’m looking forward to it already. Places are limited though to six so please be quick - two are already booked.
